What this covers

The marketing and measurement tags most yards need, added by pasting an id into a field instead of a script into a template — and wired to the cookie banner so they behave lawfully by default.

How it works in ELVPro

Six providers, curated

Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, the Meta pixel, the TikTok pixel and the LinkedIn Insight tag. You supply the measurement id; ELVPro renders the tag correctly.

Nothing fires before consent

Each tag is bound to a consent category. Until the visitor agrees, it is not loaded at all — not loaded-and-silent.

Google Consent Mode v2

The visitor's granular choice is translated into Google's consent signals, so Google's own tags adjust their behaviour rather than being blocked outright.

A record of every choice

Consent decisions are logged as proof, which is what an authority asks for when a visitor complains about tracking.

No template editing

Because ELVPro renders the tags, there is no theme file to patch and nothing to re-apply after an update — and no way for a pasted snippet to break the page or leak a tag into checkout.

When it happens

When this runs, and what it does
When What happens
On every storefront page for visitors who have consented to that category.
The moment a visitor changes their mind withdrawing consent stops the tags on the next page load.
Never on a declining visitor where your own cookieless analytics keeps counting regardless.

Why it matters

Advertising platforms need their tag on the page, and the law needs that tag to wait for consent. Doing this by hand — a snippet in a template, a banner that only pretends to gate it — is the single most common source of privacy complaints against small e-commerce sites.

What we don't claim

Tracking tags are available on every plan. You still need your own accounts with Google, Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn, and the data those platforms collect is governed by their terms, not by ours. Conversion values reported by advertising platforms will differ from your own figures — declining visitors are invisible to them and visible to you.
