What this covers

The courier side of an order, from the price the buyer sees at checkout to the tracking number they get afterwards — booked from your own courier account, without a second tab.

How it works in ELVPro

Five couriers, your account

Sameday, Cargus, Fan Courier, DPD and GLS. Credentials are stored encrypted per yard, so you ship on your own negotiated contract and rates — ELVPro is not a reseller and takes no cut of your shipping.

A real rate at checkout

The delivery price is quoted from your active courier using the address the buyer actually entered and the weight of the parts in the cart, computed on the server — never taken from the browser, so a manipulated request cannot buy free shipping.

Lockers and pickup points

Buyers who prefer a locker choose one at checkout, and it travels through to the AWB as the delivery destination.

One click to an AWB

Booking pulls the recipient, address and value from the order — no re-typing, no transcription errors — and the tracking number comes straight back onto the order.

Labels and tracking in place

The label PDF prints in A4 or A6, and each courier's own status vocabulary is normalised into one set of states, so an order screen reads the same whichever courier carried it. An AWB can be cancelled before pickup.

Cash on delivery is carried through

For an unpaid order, the amount the courier must collect goes on the AWB; for a prepaid one it is zero.

Pickup stays pickup

A collect-in-person order quotes nothing and books nothing — no courier is involved and none is invented.

When it happens

When What happens
At checkout the live quote, recalculated when the buyer changes address or delivery method.
At dispatch the AWB is booked and the tracking number lands on the order.
On demand the label, whenever you print, and tracking whenever you or the buyer looks.
Before pickup a cancellation, if the order changed after you booked.

Why it matters

Shipping is where a used-parts order usually goes wrong: a rate guessed at checkout that turns out to be half the real cost, an address copied by hand into a courier portal, a buyer emailing to ask where their alternator is. Quoting from the courier and booking from the order removes the guess, the re-typing and most of the questions.

What we don't claim

Courier integrations are available from Professional upwards. You need your own contract and account with the courier; their rates, services and delivery promises are theirs, not ours. Book one test AWB with your credentials before your first real dispatch — account options differ between contracts.
