How it works in ELVPro

Add the domain first, then point the DNS

The interface walks you through it: a CNAME for a subdomain like www or shop, or an A record for a bare domain, with the exact value to paste into your registrar.

HTTPS is issued for you

Once the DNS resolves to us, the certificate is obtained and renewed automatically. There is nothing to buy, install or remember a year from now.

One canonical address

You nominate the primary domain; the ELVPro subdomain redirects to it, so search engines index one address and your ranking is not split across two.

More than one domain is allowed

within your plan's limit — useful when you own both the .ro and the .com, or are migrating from an old address.

Everything else follows the domain

Canonical tags, sitemap, hreflang alternates, the storefront app manifest, OAuth sign-in and the payment return URLs all use your domain, so nothing leaks the platform address to a buyer.

Removing it is safe

Delete a domain and the shop falls back to the subdomain, which never stops working — you are not locked into a name.

Why it matters

A shop on somebody else's address is somebody else's brand, and the SEO you build accrues to a name you cannot take with you. Your own domain means the traffic, the links and the reputation are yours — and if you ever leave, they leave with you.

What we don't claim

Custom domains are available from Professional upwards, with the number of domains set by your plan. You buy and renew the domain yourself at your registrar; ELVPro does not sell domains. The DNS record must stay pointed at us for the shop and the certificate to keep working.
